Forrest Nichols
Forrest Nichols recently retired from the Houston Fire Department, where he served as an Engineer Operator and Paramedic. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, he relocated to Colorado and quickly became an active member of the Cotopaxi community. Drawn to service, Forrest began volunteering with the Deer Mountain Volunteer Fire Department & EMS, contributing to training sessions, EMS skills classes, and even preparing meals for department events.
A commitment to public safety led him to pursue a role on the DMFPD Board, where he hopes to support the department’s continued growth and success. Forrest holds a degree in Radio/TV/Film and brings a creative perspective to community outreach and engagement. His goals for the department include strengthening training programs, enhancing safety, ensuring operational stability, and fostering strong community support.
