My husband Roy and I met in college while studying Forestry. We have since lived and moved around the western United States while working for the US Forest Service. Our two daughters were born in Alaska but we raised them in Gunnison, Colorado. We’ve lived in Colorado since 1995. We did a stint in Lakewood, Colorado but knew that we wanted to move back to the mountains and out of the big city after retirement.
In 2022, we chose to live in the Glen Vista area for the rural life, beautiful views, sunshine and great weather. We’re so happy to be here and we’ve met wonderful people in our community. I volunteered to serve on the board to help our community and to do my part to help our fire protection district keep our residents safe.
